I recently paid a visit to Sloppy Johns (6/24) and realized that John takes no crap,
from anyone. Within the 1st 10 minutes, 2 guys were kicked out. When we asked a woman in
the bar what Mahuffer stood for, she said "none of your god damn business". So
we could see that the air was pretty stress free in Sloppy Johns..... not. But we had a
great time observing. Great environment visually and even left a few bucks hanging above
the bar. We'll be back for what will probably be another interesting experience. Take

We had occassion to visit the West Coast last weekend and, as we traveled down the
road, I noticed Mahuffer's and said to my travel companions, "If I do nothing else
this weekend, I will go to that place." So, we stopped and we really enjoyed. I would
have like to have a week to look around there. We had a drink cuz I don't like warm beer
and we played pool and the juke box. Thanks for a great time. And, by all means, tell the

we just visited sloppy johns on vacation by chance because of the sign in front. we
have never found a more intriguing bar in our lives (and that encompasses a few). we met
john and that was an experience in itself. it's good to know that there are still real
people out there like john. not all is lost when there are people like john and a watering
hole such as mahuffers.pet the callico for me.

Arnold said, "I'll be back". That reminds me of a funny story. Seems that Sly
Stallone, Claude VanDamme, and Arnold Swartzwhatever were all signed up to do a movie
about the lives of three musical composers. Sly said, "I'll be Mozart". Claude
said, "I'll be Beethoven". Arnold said, "I'll be Bach". Oh I kill me!!

to nh with annie and cub and the weather sucked just as you said it would hope things are
well with you. jack had to have an angioplasty on his heart had it done on 5-18-00 he is
doing well and walking every day he is not carring a mayor sign. we went and bought a new
computer of our own so now we can keep in touch with you guys. hope the weather is warm
down there hope june is doing fine. hope to hear from you soon.

Was at your
establishment Thursday May 25th. Rose was the bartender. Can't remember the last time I

My wife & I visisted
